The entrance to B Division is between the 4th and 5th kilometer posts on Poonagala road
and the house is approximately 1km from the entrance.
If you choose to travel by
train we are just 4km from the Bandarawela railway station.

Overall one of the best places I visited in Ella and I would recommend it to anyone who visits Ella.Sithmini P2021-02-07Relaxing get away The Farmhouse is a new property, placed in a tea estate. The unique feature of this property, is the spectacular view of the mountain range it offers. The lush green lawn was soothing to the eye and ofcourse a fine play ground for cricket, football etc. The kitchen department offers an excellent range of yummies, ranging from mocktails, cocktails, coffees, cuisine ranging from sri lankan, chinese, indian and western. Their 'salted fish bake' is a must try. Very friendly and hospitable staff lead by Nalaka the Manager. Ideal for a cozy, relaxed get away with your family or a combined trip with two of three small families with kids. Highly recommend the venue and hope they will consider allowing pets to join soon 😊Sanuki Desilva2021-02-06A wonderful weekend My family and I had an amazing weekend at the Maha Ulpatha Farmhous, friendly staff,great food including an outdoor barbecue complete with stunning panoramic views of the hills and tea estates. The indoor fire place is definitely a favourite feature of mine. We were also able to visit the Nine Arches Bridge in Ella, which was a picturesque train ride away.It was such a great way to relax and spend time with friends and family! Played cricket, plucked tea, devoured chef’s fantastic hot butter cuttlefish & enjoyed a delicious BBQ ❤️The views are amazing! We were so sad to leave.
